All Fastpitch Players Welcome

All players are welcome.

All players are welcome.

If you are a rep girls fastpitch player who has found yourself without a team for the 2023 season, please contact us. Do not give up. Don't step away from the sport. We can help! Let's get you on a roster!

Many of our Select players used to play rep ball. They made the seamless transition to play a full season of Stingers houseleague ball and play on a Select team with Newmarket. Less cost, less travel and less stress. More games, more fun, more security. Our league is growing and we want to make sure every girl who wants to play ball will get to play ball.

Safe - Fun - Competitive - Inclusive

NMSA - Softball Ontario - Softball Canada - OSSTA

Your Newmarket Minor Softball Association is committed to ensuring your child will find a welcoming, safe, fun, competitive and inclusive environment to play the game of softball.

Our coaches, officials, volunteers and executive work tirelessly to ensure your child has a positive experience in making new friends, sharing laughs, learning how to be a contributing member of a team and develop leadership skills both on and off the diamond.

Through our houseleague and select teams, the NMSA will seek out and work closely with associations who share our guiding principles of safety, inclusivity, competitiveness and fun.

All Softball Players Welcome

We recognize the past 2+ years has been very challenging financially for many families in our Region. If your daughter or her friend wants to play softball, please contact me directly. The Stingers recognize the importance of playing sports in the overall positive mental & physical health of our children and will ensure registration fees and equipment costs are no barrier to play softball with us this season.

Glenn Burton, Executive Director, NMSA

Welcome to the Home of the Newmarket Stingers!

The Newmarket Minor Softball Association invites you to share in celebrating our 49th year of providing safe, fun and inclusive Softball sports programming to our community. Our Strategic Plan has allowed us to embark on a 4 year plan driven by the theme “community” as our core objective. The game of Softball is alive and well in Newmarket!

We are actively engaged in new community events, new activities at the diamonds, more training and giving back more value to our players, coaches, officials, families and sponsors.

Our 2023 focus will be to continue to attract, develop, train and encourage female players, coaches and umpires. Our U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 and U21 all-female houseleague and Select fastball teams provide fun, safe, inclusive, healthy and competitive games and tournaments. We welcome all players of all skill levels.

We have already kicked off our year with creative ways to improve healthy activity in our community, make playing softball more accessible, affordable and improve the lives of children through the power of sport.

Whether you are a returning player or new the game of softball, we offer organized softball to all ages from 4 years old to adults. We welcome you to BEE part of our HIVE !
