Welcome to our 2023 Season!

Are you ready to Bee part of the hive?

 

Our new online system is designed to make registrations quick and easy (we recommend filling out these online forms from a laptop or tablet).  Just follow these 4 simple steps:

STEP 1: You will asked to create a unique Newmarket Stingers SportsEngine account. You only need to create an account once, unless you need to update information or add another child/player/coach. You are now officially part of our Hive! If you are already have a SportsEngine account with another organization (ie. Central York Girls Hockey, Durham Region Soccer Association, Ontario Soccer, Ontario Volleyball, Ontario Minor Hockey Association, etc), you can to sign into your existing account and "add" your name or your child's name to Newmarket Minor Softball Association. 

STEP 2Choose the registration form you need from the list below and click on it to fill out information for this season. 

STEP 3:  Complete the requested information by filling out all the applicable fields in the electronic form and submit.  You can make payment using Visa or MasterCard.  If you'd like to pay by cheque, cash or e-transfer, select "pay offline". Please send e-transfer payment to: treasurer@newmarketstingers.ca.  The Newmarket Stingers will contact you with  instructions for cheque or cash payment. 

STEP 4:  If you registered to be a coach or volunteer, you can expect to hear from Stingers within a couple of days.  If you registered to play ball, you'll be contacted before the start of the season  with your team assignment and details on when and where you'll be playing.

House League Registration Fees

Include:

  • Uniform – Timbits (U7) Official Softball Canada Timbits T-Shirt and 5 Pitch (U9): Jersey
  • Uniform - U11 and above:  Jersey
  • Team photo
  • End of Year Recognition Item (example: banner, medal, trophy)
  • Permit fees paid to the Town of Newmarket
  • Umpire fees
  • Team equipment which includes bats, balls, bases, and catcher's gear
  • Insurance coverage (including updated Covid-19 safety protocols)
  • Unlimited Fun, Friendships and Skills at no extra charge! :) 

Refund Policy

Refund Policy:

  • Refunds before April 30th, 2023 may be subject to a $35 fee 
  • Refunds between May 1st and June 15th , 2023 are subject to an $80 fee
  • No refunds will be given after June 15th, 2023
  • Refunds exclude any banking, payment processing or convenience fees

Other NMSA Details

  • All players, parents and spectators must follow the NMSA code of conduct.
  • Please note that while we will try to accommodate one friend request, this may not always be possible.
  • Teams may be adjusted during the first few weeks of the season for team balancing
