Newmarket has consistently been named one of the Best Places to Live in Canada by MoneySense Magazine and has garnered an international reputation for being one of the country's most dynamic, diverse and desirable towns to live and work in.
A special thank you to the entire team at the Town of Newmarket's Recreation & Culture and Development and Infrastructure Departments for keeping our facilities safe, well-groomed, well-lit and well serviced throughout the entire softball season. With their support over our 46 year history, our Hive is alive and well.
Our Houseleague games are played on Diamonds 1, 2 and 3 at the Home of the Stingers. Our ball diamonds are located in the back parking lot of the Ray Twinney Recreation Centre. We have heated washrooms and ample, well-lit, free parking.
Diamond 1 and 2 are lit for night games and have bleacher seating to cheer on your favourite teams!
Games are played Monday to Thursday evenings with most games having their first pitch at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
There is a children's playground adjacent to the diamonds. Food, gas and Tim Horton's are located just minutes away.
Our home diamonds are located at Ray Twinney Sport Complex - the Home of the Stingers. All home games for all House League, Select and Adult Leagues are proudly played here.
Houseleague away games are played in nearby Aurora, Stouffville and Richmond Hill as part of the York North Loop.
Spectators are always welcome, so check our calendar regularly for the schedule of upcoming games and come out to cheer on our Newmarket Stingers!
Our 3-pitch Adult division plays Monday evenings at both diamonds at Armstrong Family Park and Ray Twinney.
