Timbits Softball is a revolutionary way of introducing the sport of Softball to children.

Activities are included which foster the involvement of ALL players, including players with high and low skill levels. The child will experience excitement, enjoyment and success. Activities and lead-up games are patterned after informal playground games that promise an hour of FUN and LOTS OF ACTION. Participants will go home at the end of the day happy and tired while improving their fitness level.

Our 5-Pitch program expands on the skills learned in Timbits & moves your child to a 30 minute practice followed by a 1 hour, 5 inning game (time permitted). New for 2024 season the decision has been made to move this program to all girls age division, in co-ordation for inter- association league game play.  Start time is 6:15 PM. In the early part of the season, coaches will pitch 5 balls to each batter on their own team. Each batter has 5 pitches to hit a ball into play. This structure allows players to develop the fundamentals of hitting, running the bases & positional fielding. Fun play is at the heart of 5-Pitch. A team jersey is included. Recommended bats are 24 inch to 27 inches in length. Player to provide glove, helmet all infielders must wear CSA approved defensive masks during games and practices.

Our Girls U11 & U13 programs expands your child into a full 90 minute game (time permitted). Games start at 6:45 PM. One night for games, 2nd night for practices. No weekends. Season ends Mid-August. Ideal for players new to the sport as well as players who have learned some of the fundamentals. This structure allows players to continue developing the fundamentals of hitting, base running, positional fielding & game strategy. Fun play, team-building & friendships are at the heart of our House League program. A team jersey is included. It is recommended players have their own in-field face mask, glove, helmet, and soft cleats. A bat is not required.

U11 2024 Confirmed for Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:30pm. Games will typically be Tuesday nights.

U13 2024 Confirmed for Monday and Wednesday nights at 6:30pm. Games will typically be Wed nights

Our Girls U15, U17 & U19-U21 programs is a more competitive 90 minute game (time permitted).  One night for games, 2nd night for practices. No weekends. Season ends Mid-August. Ideal for players new to the sport as well as players who have learned some of the fundamentals. This structure allows players to continue developing the fundamentals of hitting, base running, positional fielding & game strategy. Fun play, team-building & friendships are at the heart of our House League program. A team jersey is included. It is required players have their own in-field face mask, glove, helmet, and soft cleats.  A bat is recommended.

U15 2024 Confirmed for Tuesday and Thursday nights at 8:30pm. Games will typically be played on either night this season.

U17+ (U21) 2024 Confirmed for Monday and Wednesday and a few Thursday nights. Please note games in Barrie will be played on Thursday nights as we are looping again with the BDGSA. Home games will be played Wed nights.
