Getting ready for our 2025 Season!!!
Please watch for upcoming notifications about our off-season training. We are so excited to share that we have secured 4 Newmarket school gyms for indoor training this Fall and Winter.
We are planning indoor training for all age groups from Jr. Bees up to U21. We are planning pitching clinics, catching clinics and batting clinics. We will be hosting open houses for new players, mental health workshops and coach's and umpire training.
SELECT UPDATE: Newmarket Minor Softball Association is once again excited to be planning SELECT teams as an extension of our dynamic houseleague programming, subject to the number of players and coaches available at each age division.
In 2024, we had U11, U13, U15 and U21 teams. Next year, depending on the number of players interested, we hope to field SELECT teams at all age groups from U9 right up through U25.
Formal SELECT team tryouts will take place in the Spring of 2025 usually in April and May. Any player wishing to play SELECT, must be registered, and in good standing, to play houseleague with the Stingers. Tryouts may start in gyms and continue outdoors depending on weather and permit availability.
We do run indoor gym training for all players in the off-season. This will usually start up around the beginning of October. Training is open to all players. SELECT-specific practices may begin early in 2025.
Many thanks for making plans to be part of our incredible Hive. our amazing players, coaches, officials and their families make our Association an incredible place to have fun, complete and grow together. Please watch for future communication coming
